Dark, atmospheric and very very effective, ‘One Day’ is the latest in a string of singles from singer-songwriter Nuborg. But don’t let that ‘singer-songwriter’ tag fool you into thinking this is standard acoustic fare.
No, this is something all the more complex – chords, lilting vocals and spaced out sounds built around sparse percussion which forms the basis of a slow build, picking up towards the end for an epic crescendo – this one will reward patience.
